Next topic for discussion:  Depression, Anxiety, Stress and tension.......day to day psychological problems and its management with #ayurveda....
Dr. Bhadresh Naik: Very interesting and today burning problem of world is psychological disease,Child psychology is important
Shri Minoo parabia: My humble observation is, psychedelic problems are always having disturbed digestion. So if the treatment directs both the fronts,  results are good.
Dr. Bhadresh Naik: Kam (desire),Kridh(anger),Moh(attechment),Maya,Irshiya(jealasy),Matsar-Are basic cause of psychological disorder. Manash dosh are reaction of family Social, Job  related problems, Financial crisis, Emotional hurt, Different situation , Detachment, Anger, Revange, Misperception, Misinterpret, Ego. How y react Emotions, Value, Moral Are factors. This are factors are attached to vagus nerve. Hormone-Digestive system--Both should be considered for line of treatment. Anybody invatated remote control device for shutdown negative impulse is ultimate treatment Hope and wish
Vd. Pankaj Chhayani: Inventing remote control is wrong way, it will create more problems...whatever allopathy have treatment of mental disorder, they accept that these are symptomatic...They believe existence of mana (mind) at some extent, but they don't believe in Atma, and without accepting Atma , its difficult to handle mental disorders..in upanishad ,there is nice verse regarding role of Atma, mana, imdriya, buddhi, sharira...
Vd. Hardik bhatt, Idar: Daily read Shimad Bhagwad Geeta ... One of the best and easy solution for depression and anxiety, Sarvamanyat parityajy mamekam sharanam vrajah.....leave all and surrender to Lord

Dr. Madhuri Patil Chaudhari: Depression ~ Vatkshay. Trtmnt  of Vatkshay after managing pittanubandh or kaphanubandh with vaman virechan, or shaman chikitsa if doshas r not aggravated enuf for shodhan. Dr. Ravindra Upadhyay: for depression, anxiety, stress and tension, stop expecting anything from anybody, always help others, no jealousy, no comparison, except whatever comes your way, high moral, keep cool, no apprehension, this will keep you cool, always be positive, do. pranayam, meditation. Though these remedies appear outdated, obsolet  but are the mainstay in the treatment modality of. the above mentioned problems.
Dr. Bhadresh Naik: Pragnaparadh is root of manasrog. Patients becomes habituated for negative impulse. It's becomes habituated Constantly  awareness ,Slight change of thought process, Practice of consciousness, Understand the problem solution, Good company, Moral support, Improvement of quality life, Personal value etc.
Dr. Prerak Shah: My sincere question: Does anybody treat such conditions? practically does any one has good result? with evidence? Can you share it here with group?
Dr. Bhavesh Modh: The mind, body, and spirit are intricately linked. Anxiety is a condition that originates in the mind, causing physiological changes similar to the stress response in the body. Ayurvedically speaking, anxiety is a dosha imbalance where excess vata accumulates in the nervous system. Because we are in the height of vata season, it is a common time to experience increased anxiety in the form of insomnia, a restless mind, nervousness, panic, and/or fearful thoughts.Ayurveda offers time-tested wisdom regarding diet, lifestyle, herbal remedies, yoga, meditation, and pranayama to help bring balance to the body and ease anxiety.
Avoid ice cold drinks, particularly taken with meals or immediately after.Limit raw, cold foods such as salads and raw vegetables.Minimize caffeinated beverages and other stimulants. These increase vata, aggravating the nervous system.Include warm milk spiced with a pinch of ginger, cinnamon, cardamom, and nutmeg. This is a nutritious way to soothe the nerves and, when taken before bed, will promote sound sleep.Limit alcohol consumption. This substance has an adverse effect on the nervous system.Eat meals at regular times each day, making lunch the largest meal of the day.
According to Ayurveda, abhyanga (self oil massage) is an important component of a vata-pacifying routine. The Sanskrit word sneha can be translated as both "oil" and "love". It is believed that the effects of abhyanga are similar .
Ashwagandha, is a highly effective adaptogen renowned for its ability to support the body in times of stress.
Dr. Bhadresh Naik: We can judge the sign and symptoms of manasdosh Like Vataj-Aggressive.  Mood change, Restless, Irregular sleeping habit, Irregular diet, Talkative, Irrelevant talk, Dominant personality, Short temper, Gambler, High risk investment, Business, Fond of purchases, Eating
Dr. Bhavesh Modh:   Ayurveda     research shows that many physiological imbalances contribute to depression, anxiety and related conditions. Symptoms of depression and anxiety are triggered by excessive mental and physical stress, or disruptions of natural biological rhythms. According to Ayurveda, psychological problems start when fundamental imbalances develop in the biological intelligence that controls all bodily processes. Vata imbalance contributes to anxiety, fear, mental instability and insomnia. Pitta imbalance may give rise to anger and irritability..Kapha imbalance may lead to lethargy and depression.
Dr. Devesh Kumar: For depression manas mitra vatakam shows gud result
Dr. Madhuri Patil Chaudhari: There is a difference between Depression , Anxiety, hyperactive mind, schizophrenia , personality types  that may mimic mental disorders. So these myrid symptoms hard to catch everyday consistently in single pt.  Vata imbalance esp. Vayu and aakash  need conscious control by altering habits that may damage mind. I.e. satva oclusion by tam or raj. Yapya vyadhi. Best Therapy. For everlasting results.

Baroda Dr. Jwalant: Most probably  anxiety or depression  creates due to  pragnapradh . Indirectly  it  was created  by person or  patients  it  self  so  if you  are so  serious to  cure  permanently  take  history  in detail ,  try  to  find out  causes and if needed  councell  patient . It gives  better results then  medicines . Also it  doesn't  make any side effects . Some times some medicines can cause phycological disorders which we have to know with taking history of patients.Pragnaparadh - Chinta,  bhay, shok, krodha, irshya, lobh no  Hin ,mithya, atiyog.
Dr. Meghdoot Satvekar: Ayurveda research shows that many physiological imbalances contribute to depression, anxiety and related conditions.Symptoms of depression and anxiety are triggered by excessive mental and physical stress, or disruptions of natural biological rhythms. According to Ayurveda, psychological problems start when fundamental imbalances develop in the biological intelligence that controls all bodily processes.Vata imbalance contributes to anxiety, fear, mental instability and insomnia Pitta imbalance may give rise to anger and irritability Kapha imbalance may lead to lethargy and depression,Ayurveda does not simply match drugs to symptoms, because people can have the same symptoms for different reasons. Just as a headache can have many possible causes, not everyone has depression or anxiety for the same reasons.Since depression and anxiety can be influenced by many factors, such as diet, digestion, toxin accumulation, stress, exercise levels and daily routine.
Dr. Madhuri Patil Chaudhari: Tab or syrup Prasham is the only ayurvedic medicine as per my experience,  that gave instant result in Aggravated conditions of mind.
Dr. Prerak Shah: Search for "gut brain relation" in Google. You will surprise to see millions of papers, which connects brain and gut. Concept of basti can be clearly understood with these so called modern research. These modern research will give us evidence that Basti treatment is good for all psychological problems. We are waiting for that evidence - western certificate.
Dr. Anup Torane: IBS is clear pic which show depending nature of mastishk  n aantra either or. so in any typs of grahani we can use medya rasayan medicine parallel with dipan pachan but not stanbhak
Dr. Bhavesh Modh:  The gut and brain have a steady ability to communicate via the nervous system, hormones, and the immune system. Some of the microbiome can release neurotransmitters, just like our own neurons do, speaking to the brain in its own language via the vagus nerve.
Dr. Bhadresh Naik: Very interesting subject of leacy gut syndromes.Origin of many disease correlate with aam in ayurved, Very true with vagus nerve
Dr. Sheetal Sumra: I was having one patient who was suffering from stress and depression. He used to get different voices of different different ppl like Sachin Tendulkar, Shahrukh khan .  I had advised him Shirodhara and basti. I did  Counseling,  reached him to meditate and boost up his confidence but I had got no good results..  Though patient was happy but I was not satisfied.
Dr. Meghdoot Satvekar: Medhya Rasayan'which is supposed to be having specific influence on higher brain functions. 'Brahmi'(Bacopa monniera) and  'Vacha' (Acorus calamus) are the important plants in the group 'Medhya Rasayana'. They are widely claimed as restorative ,nervine and mental tonics. They have got prominent action on Central Nervous System where they improve grasping power, memory, intellect and speech, and correct aberrations of emotions, mood and personality of an individual
Other important 'Medhya' plants are -
'Mandukparni'(Hydrocotyle asiatica) - It is indicated to be used in the treatment of mental retardation, speech disorders, insanity , epilepsy etc.
'Shankhapushpi'(Convolvulus pluricaulis) - One of the best brain tonics. It strengthens the brain, brightens the memory and intellect. It is indicated in the treatment of loss of memory and associated mental disorders like insanity and epilepsy.
'Jyotishmati'(Celastrus paniculatus) - Powerful nervine and brain tonic which stimulates the intellect and sharpens the memory
'Jatamansi'(Nardostachys jatamansi) - Highly aromatic plant bearing a biphasic action on Central nervous system indicating nerve stimulation and nerve sedation (sedation to spinal cord specifically).
Dr. Bhadresh Naik: I am working on gut treatment along with v p k dosha balance. Increase the satva by chanting mantra Aum nad, Counseling, Root cause solution, Ampthy, Good relationship with doctor, Suggestions, Upgrade the personal value, Counseling with family members, Nasya, Pranayam, Astrological solution. It's should be continues and constant. Increase liking activity
Canada Nitin Shah: I will come up with other details may be later. But Nasya and basti treatments are most recommended
Dr. Ekta Patel (g): I treated very few pts of depression.  I gave brahmivati,  smrutisagar rashm,  tab. A fort & shirodhara.  It was successful.
Dr. Anup Torane: In d treating unmad (i  m not using word depression n whatever) in charak samita hav classical explanation about hetusevan types n treatment according to types.counseling is most important than medicine.-then hetusevan-sarvang snehan with rajani tail-kalyanak/mahakalyanak ghrit (also useful in constipition)-Krumighna-suvarnyukt sarswatarisht-sneh n niruh basti alternate-Shirodhara-nasya-internal medicin
Vd. Dhruti Kagrana: * The three pillars of life are Manas(mind),Atma(soul) and Sareera(body). Psychiatry in Ayurveda integrates mind, body and soul. The mind-body connection is very important in Ayurveda.Physical imbalances can disturb mental state while mental illness leads to disruption of body functions.* Manas or the physical mind is connected to three faculties called Dhi(intellect),Dhruti(processing information) and Smruti(memory).
- Dhi is the intelligence which helps to learn, focus and understand.Vata dosha should be balanced for the optimual functioning of Dhi.
- Dhruti involves the chemical and electrical processing of information  and is therefore related to Pitta dosha.
- Smruti is the ability remember .Kapha dosha should be balanced for proper functioning of Smruti.
When there is proper coordination between these three factors ,mental health is perfect. When there is lack of coordination it leads to a condition called Prajnaparadha when the person becomes totally ignorant of what he does.
* Prana vayu, Vyan vayu, Sadhaka pitta & Tarpaka kapha are mainly involved.
Causes of Mental Illness:
Several factors influence the psychological upset in a person.
1) Social circumstances
2) Hereditary factors
3) Traumatic incidents
4) Personality of the person
5) Biological reasons ( abnormal changes in the chemicals which play major role in communication between neurons in brain.)
Healing threw 5 senses:-
Often  5 senses are very much connected to subconscious memories. Therefore the sound, touch ,vision, taste and smell can bring positive changes in people if used in the right way.Mind is connected to sense organs and stimuli they receive from environment. Therefore 5 senses are important in healing mental imbalance.
Canada Nitin Shah:  Dhee, Dhriti and Smriti collectively known as Pragnya and Prgnyaparadha as mistaken or misused intellect along with other factors are the main etiological factor for most conditions. Great explanation. Also we interact to the outer world through the five senses so keeping them healthy is most important. Just a reminder of 3 monkeys of GANDHI Ji
Dr. Bhadresh Naik: Key for balance mind and thoughts, Beliefs, Perceptions, Reaction, Visualize, Understanding. Thought process Application-Compromise
Does and don't.- Count all circumstance.Don't react on signal incidents,Think of opposite person, If I don't like how I can does with other it's inteculate,Forgive and forget,Dealit negative impulse thought,Sacrifices,Trust on self Constantly everness is only remady for psychological disorder
Dr Sandeep Madaan: In IBS most of the pts are fearful. anticipation that a particular food will aggravate peristalsis make conditions worse. repeated counselling assurance is must. Most of them feel healthy when busy.the idle mind triggers the problem.share your views plz.I find tagar helpful in these conditions. Never tried pichha basti in these pts, it was advised by dr Prerak ji.
Germany Helga Fuchs:  Yoga Nidra - we train 5 senses softly and stress and mindknotes are going. Easy yogaasana to Stretch the body and relax breathing. No pranayama like brahmari in  Depression. This calms the mind and people go deeper. Nadi shodana is enough. Very useful is to walk daily, easy digestiv food, clear daily routine and follow a personal life plan. Most feel disturbed as she follow stupide society or religion rules. Society say this, religion say this, but life shows you another way. Find god in yourself and not in any religion. Virechan, Nasya.  Basti not useful.
Dr. Madhuri Patil Chaudhari: Indriyaavajaya. Through Yog.
Dr Dipak Shirude: One can provide whole link of Ayulink blog. That will be more suitable.
Vd. Pankaj Chhayani: Depression:- loss the capability to enjoy (day to day) the small things of the life...Pts feel helplessness/hopelessness/worthlessness..
There are two types of depression:-
1⃣ Reactive: - big blow(financial loss, divorce, loss of relatives) to life and as a reaction to blow pts get depression...
Big blow to lifedepression
Counselling is more important along with medicines..

2⃣ Endogenous:- there is biochemical/neurotransmitter dysfunctions as a result of any disease process and pts get depression..
Diseasebiochemical/neurotransmitter dysfunctiondepressionloss of job, wife, money drug therapy is more useful along with counselling...
There are more two types of depression:-
1⃣ this is  not truly clinical depression.. Example for, woman losses her husband and for six month, she is down in mood, feel wortglessness/ hopelessness/ helplessness and gradually she come back to the life.. This is normal bereavement time..its not truly depression...
2⃣ Clinical(true) depression:- last longer, inappropriate to loss, generalized feeling of hopelessness/helplessness/worthlessness...Example for , other woman says 15 year back I lost my husband and I never enjoyed life, and she is down from last 17 years, its abnormal...
Depression in Ayurveda:- Most of mental disorders are involved in Unmada/Atatvabhinivesh... In unmada definition, there is
भक्ति विभ्रम(bhakti vibhrama):-  यत्रेच्छा पूवँमासीतत्रानिच्छा भवति।- pts develop disinclination for things desired previously..
आप्त सेवन(aapta sevana) is given in manas Roga(mental disorder) treatment.. Here, aapta can be grandmother/grandfather/ close friend/ spiritual guru etc... In condition of depression, company of aapta is most important otherwise pt feels Hopelessness/ helplessness, pt feels lonely and may end her life...
Charaka has described by various etiquette in Sadvrutta.. These etiquette are most useful in prevention of depression...
Some of them are as below:-
Social etiquette,Sexual etiquette,Dietary etiquette,Management etiquette,Study etiquette.
Pragyaparadh(intellectual blaaphemy) aggravates all the dosha..
As preventive aspect, dhee, dhruti, smriti should be worked well..
 Dhee/ buddhi (intellect):-
Views things as they are...by impairment of dhee, one can't differentiate between bad and good..
Smriti:-  healthy memory. After knowing things as they are, to keep continue this memory in mind is good.. If some one can differentiate that alcohol is bad and coconut water is good its called proper dhee but person forget this differentiate at actual time then its called impaired smriti..
Dhruti:- restrain the mind from its harmful object.. If dhee working well(difference between alcohol and coconut water), smriti is also working well(remembering goodness and badness of alcohol and coconut water at time of choice) but dhruti is not working well(can't restraint from bad things and consume alcohol) and causes problem..So most of time dhruti(self control) is not working...
Dr. Bhadresh Naik: Nomo phobia is new psychological disorder-Addiction of mobile phone
Germany Helga Fuchs: Dr. Pankaj. Traditional Yoga works for all type useful and fast.

Vd. Kinshuk Hirpara: what's the difference-Recently, there has been an incredible amount of media on depression and how prevalent it is in society. It is named as the most prevalent Mental Health problem in the Western world. If we take a look at our society today, we can certainly see the root causes of why this would be so. But what is the underlying issue of depression? Does anxiety have some contributing factor to the depression people are being diagnosed with? In particular, are the diagnoses of "anxiety" and "depression" distinguishable ?
People who experience an Anxiety Disorder often experience depression as a secondary condition. That is, if you are experiencing panic attacks, for instance, then it would be logical that the huge physical and emotional impact of this ongoing experience is going to effect you, and you may develop depression. When we live in a cramped cage of fear and anxiety, our system will react to the loss of personal freedom. In our research on Treatment Needs for Anxiety Disorders, 53.7% of people reported they also experienced major depression as a secondary condition. When asked whether they felt this depression was as a result of having an Anxiety Disorder, they all responded "Yes". This ties in with the Diagnostic Manual DSMIV. It states Major Depression can be secondary to the primary problem - the Anxiety Disorder.
The other side of the coin is that the researchers also state people who are severely depressed do become anxious. Depression can be the primary cause and people then react to the depression with anxiety. This is true of people diagnosed with Bipolar (Manic Depression). Certainly the constant roller coaster, from deep depression to manic high, can create anxiety in a person's life.
Other theories believe they are different parts of a single disorder. Still others believe they are distinct disorders, but overlapping. DSM-IV includes a formal definition of "Mixed Anxiety-Depressive Disorder".
So when a person presents to a doctor with symptoms of depression and anxiety, what is the diagnosis? The coin can flip either way. In the case of Panic Disorder (the root cause is the spontaneous panic attacks), Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Social Anxiety and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder - the diagnosis seems clear. It is the Anxiety Disorder which is primary.
The grey line comes in with Generalized Anxiety Disorder. There is overwhelming anxiety - certainly, but with depression being present, the doctor may diagnose Major Depression rather than an Anxiety Disorder. The root cause may be the anxiety, but it is the secondary condition which is treated. It must be said, however, we have seen people come to us who have a diagnosis of Major Depression but are also experiencing spontaneous panic attacks. Surely the diagnosis should be Panic Disorder or Anxiety Disorder. Perhaps when the person presented to the doctor, they spoke of their symptoms and the doctor decided they were experiencing depression. Clients ask us for assistance in managing the panic attacks, but seem resolved to the fact they have been diagnosed as Major Depression and that is that. They seem to think the two are unrelated and accept they have a "chemical imbalance in the brain theory".So when we present to a doctor and speak of our experience, our physical symptoms and general sense of wellbeing, what are we telling the doctor?
Dr. Prerak Shah: I like the last part of differences and similarities. Very informative.
Vd. Kinshuk Hirpara: Similarities
Anxiety & Anxiety Disorder     v/s  Depression
·         Fatigue - related to the overwhelming experience of
the anxiety and fear energy, tension and extra energy
used to continue regardless, loss of sleep etc     v/s Fatigue - related to the energy drop associated with depressed mood

Dr. Bhadresh Naik: To whom y label as a physotic patient. It's big debut, Clinical symptoms remains at least three months on and off. Not responding to any medication. Then y do counseling then label as a physotic personality. Many it's temporally. Due to Conditions,Circumstance,Event,Uneventful situation,Emotional hurt
Dr. Bhavesh Modh: अतत्वाभिनिवेशो मानसो विकारः स च सर्व संसारि दुःख हेतुतया गद इत्युच्यते ।। चक्रदत & charak  also accepted  महागद
Vd. Kinshuk Hirpara: Lariam (mefloquine), used to treat malaria. Depression, anxiety, and psychosis are among the side effects of this medication, according to an article in Medical Science Monitor in 2013 that explored the chemical cascade behind mood changes.
Chantix (varenicline), used to stop smoking. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) lists hostility, anxiety, depression, and suicidal thoughts as possible side effects of this medication.
Inderal (propranolol hydrochloride) and other drugs in the beta-blocker class, used to treat high blood pressure. Research on beta-blockers and depression suggests that some, but not all, of the medications in this class can contribute to depression, according to a report in the February 2011 issue of the Journal of Clinical Psychopharmacology.
Contraceptives. Contraceptives including those delivered by vaginal ring or patch could lead to depression in some people, according to research published in the Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews in 2010.
Corticosteroids. Some people who take corticosteroids experience side effects such as depression, anxiety, and panic attacks, among other symptoms, according to a review of research published in Rheumatology International in 2013.
Interferon-alpha. As many as 40 percent of people using this immunologic medication may experience depression, according to a 2009 report in Dialogues in Clinical Neuroscience.
Interferon-beta. The link between this immunologic medication and depression is debated, but researchers reporting in Therapeutic Advances in Neurologic Disorders in 2011 note that depression is a concern for those who take it, in part because of their underlying conditions.
Nonnucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors. These HIV medications may increase the risk for depression, according to research published in the September 2014 issue of HIV Medicine. Arimidex (anastrozole) and aromasin (exemestane). Both of these long-term breast cancer therapies may contribute to depression, according to the FDA.
Vigabatrin. This anticonvulsant may cause depression, irritability, and psychosis, notes a review of studies in Acta Neurologica Scandinavica in 2011.
Better to take history,  as many patients taking prescribed medications. Which causes depression
Dr. Bhavesh Modh: In Morden medicine अतत्वाभिनिवेश = ? Paramnesia  or paranoia
Dr. Shriniwas Gujjarwar: Pradnyaparadha is also a main cause of depression.
Vd. Kinshuk Hirpara: There are more than 200 classified forms of mental illness. Some of the more common disorders are: clinical depression, bipolar disorder, dementia, schizophrenia and anxiety disorders. All of these mostly due to pragnaparadh. 👍🏻 a feeling of guilt.
Dr. Bhavesh Modh:

All mental disease include  in ayurveda  only 3.
1.उन्माद
2.अपस्मार
3.अतत्वाभिनिवेश
Dr. Bhadresh Naik: Grahaj unamad.Anybody interesting in astrology please share and guide
Dr. Anup Torane: Plz anybody tell me what is role of nadiparikshan in d unmad apsmar n atatvabhinivesh
Vd. Pankaj Chhayani: I met Dr. Damania sir last week...He did yagya  whole day for mental disorders and got good results...
Dr. Bhavesh Modh: I think ग्रहोन्माद related with moon ...
Dr. Meghdoot Satvekar: Depression and anxiety often lead people to smoke, drink excessively, and gain weight, behaviours that can definitely promote hypertension and heart disease. the connection between mood and hypertension may be more direct than that.  anxiety and depression put the body on constant alert, which places a strain on many organ systems. hypertension medications, when combined with psychotherapy and antidepressants, helped prevent severe attacks of high blood pressure
Dr. Anup Torane: When sometimes pt.do false history ahout psy disease then wht typ of nadiparikshan indicate actual he/she suferr or not
Shri Minoo parabia: Mention of moon as one of the factors aggravating  Unmad is fascinating. Science is divided in opinions. I would like to know from the actual practitioners, about their observations. Please!
Dr. Madhuri Patil Chaudhari: Astrologucally mecury affliction with rahu/ketu schizophrenia/unmad. Moon affictions  show personality types(DSM may hv described some personality traits as disorder or disease.). Now Introverted personality types are being debated to be included in DSM. 🤔😳. This way 50 % population will b labelled as hving some mental Disorder. Diversity of Normality of human mind needs to be accepted. Ayurved way is on putting personal responsibility to Care for Mind Soul on patient. Allopathic way is Medicines will cure do wht u want or be less responsible for Ones own Overall health.
Severity and degrees need to be taken in2 consideration b4 diagnosing any patient as having a psychological problem. Shok , Bhay are not diseases or big psychiatric problems as per Ayurved view. Actually increase of water element in the body can be affected by moon energy (like moon's effect on ocean) and that can cause more psychological problems....so they have religiously asked people not to eat such food. And to replace it they have asked to eat more legumes on those days...so that legumes can absorbs water element by their ruksha guna. This is scientific.............

He was taking allopathy medicines since last 7-8 years. But he was addicted and cant miss even single dose of medicine. And because of that his weight gain was 11 kg.. Innitially i did his counselling first time for half an hour. And then i started Jatamansi+ Brahmi Chrun mix 1 pinch 5-6 times a day on tounge. Tab Shankhvati 2-2,Tab Erandbhrust haritaki 3 before meal ,Cap Memory plus 1-1,Tab Brahmi Gold 1 in morning with honey.. step by step i did shirodhara and Nasya both once for 7-7 days.
And in 7 months had stop all his allopathy medinices and also continue our medicines for more 5 motnhs.  And since last 1 year he is not taking a single medicines for that and he is 100% free from that.  And his weight loss was 8 kg during our medicines.. He comes to meet me once in a month to just say Thankyou. As an Ayurved Physician most imp thing is Councelling.   Only medicines doesnt work in this kind of case..
Dr. Sujata Vaidya: Depression = low self esteem ,Anxiety = fear of loss,Stress= low immunity and stamina. Tension = unable to forgive. If there are considered, medication or  therapy and counceling will have better results.
Vd. Dhruti Nirav Bhatt: I have a female patient of depression  from long time and after taking so many antidepressive medication she become obese and suffering from Backpain and nervous system problem like Fat deposition in lambosacral region

This factor can be real or imagined.Stress is any pressure placed upon you that demands a response. We cannot Eliminate stress but we can beat stress.we can stop letting it spoil our lives.we can knock it out as a risk factor for chronic disease. Vd. Akshata Swami: In anxious and stressed conditions doctors can advise patients to count numbers descending like from 100 to 1....it gradually decreases pressure on brain by concentrating on counting, n effective in kids also. In day to day practice atmost effectiveness of aumkar chanting we can experience but in patients we can't convince to that because some are by satva only rajasik... This is best in those cases

Shri Minoo parabia: Mention of moon as one of the factors aggravating  Unmad is fascinating. Science is divided in opinions. I would like to know from the actual practitioners, about their observations. Please!
Dr. Suyog Kulkarni: Sir, in my little bit of practice ,I have certainly observed increase in the symptoms of anxiety near poornima & amavasya days.
Dr. Sujata Vaidya: In energy medicine or esoteric healing, moon influences sedating and flowing influences of water. Moon influences fluid. One important fluid in our system is brain spinal. It has a direct impact on the triggers and flow of hormones in the body.
The ebb in this fluid changes the dopamine pressure .... and can cause hyper emotions of 2 extrems. Happiness is usually not a problem. Depression or suicidal tendencies very much are. most of female hormones are water reactive. It all adds up logically. The moon phases influences female reproductive cycle. Full moon or no moon are 2 heavenly bodies together ( amavasya) or absolutely on opposite sides  (pournima ) causing the pull and push in hormones and cerebro spinal fluids.
Nadi shodhan works very well. Fasting helps ( only milk. Nothing else).  OM chanting strength the mind body flexibility to safeguard from lunacy.
Moods like depression anxiety etc can be mapped with moon phases. This will help patient plan in advance positive mental training or preparing the body to safely from moon related painful situations
Mr. Premkumar Yadav: Meditation on early morning specially 5 am helps a lot Chanting of A.U.M atleast 11   rounds. Then only it will helps against stress

Vd. Jignesh Thakkar: Thalpothichil is good therapy to reduce stress. Recently I started at my clinic and getting good results……….According to a senior doctor when pt comes to ayurveda after being diseased from long time they have have one or more psychological elements. He always prescribe one or more medicine for manovahstrotas.Mainly  patient suffering from digestive tract disorder or skin disorder will receive antipsychotic from him.Initially I didnt liked this approach but
As I have seen lot of cases treated by him now I think we should include antipsychotic in our most of the prescription.
