Vd. Ritaben Nadiad:  have one pt. He has itching all over body last 6 month. He is taking my treatment last 15 days but he could not get result in itching. I have given arogyvardhini, gandhak rasayan and cutis cap from vasu pharma. I have suggested him for virechan. So pls suggest me which medicin will helpfull him in seavere itching

USA Umangi Patel: Thx for all information....Also same I had one lady pt and she have itching over some area., itching is not bad but her skin became black and really dry and after start itching,...I gave her maha manjisthadi vati, aarogyavardhini,and  galoosatva or samsamni vati ..she is also taking nimbpowder with turmeric powder very regularly. For external use I gave her coconut oil.   She had from 2 yrs and got some good result  now it is came back ....and more worse. What should I give her??? She is very good pt keep having faith in ayurveda and good with pareji.

Vd. Tushar Trivedi: Skin dryness also cause itching...we get lot of patient in OPD who generally dont use ghee in their routine diet...either they are poor or afraid of taking ghee (they think it causes Blood pressure, DM etc..)...Lack of snigdha guna in our diet it causes rukshata...In these type case , our routine skin treatment dont work...Just give advice to take Goghruta or panchtikta ghruta orally as a shamana sneha...

Hikka- hiccups and ayurveda

In hikka , simple measures like shita jala parisheka and ela are very useful

Mayurpichhabhasam with honey is very useful. Main kafdoshjanya. Madhurgan aasudhyukat nasya is also good for hikka. In ayurved there are five type of hiccoughs they r all classified under hikka rog.  Since hiccoughs r expulsions of wind from the chest cavity they r caused due to vititation of the vat dosh which represents the air element of the human body. Especilly the prana and the udan vat sub dohas r responsibal for hikka. Out of the five type of hikka, the first three -  yamala, annaja and kshudra r considered by ayurved to be born out of gastrointestinal causes, due to problam such as costipation and flatulence. The reamining two types gambhira and mahati r caused due to serious complications. Thase hikkas can't be treated easily. Most hikkas r not serious and do not need any medical attention but in some cases they could be a symptom of threateing condition like. 1 pneumonia. 2 high toxin levels in the body due to kidney failure. Causes 1 consuming alcoholic or aerated beverages. 2 eating spicy food.  3 eating too fast.  4 stress.

Commonly  hiccup occur due to pratilom gati of vata so we should apply vatanuloman treatment .warm water + erand tail+sunth gives good result den chew sauf (variyali).if attacks come frequently we have to treat by basti. Erand bhrust haritaki also good to treat vata but if there is vata+ kapha treat it can be differently.

Vd. Rajal shukla: My Father in low is saffaring from hiccup since last 2 and half years. Given so many Ayurvedic medicines not cure Alopathi medicine is not working. Reports are normal. Late C.P Shukla dada given Mayurpichha bhasma before meal. Erandbrust Haritaki at night. sunthi- Gud nasya.

Vd. neha dipam: I have 2 pt  I have given sivakharoachan churn+ mayurpichcha bhasm,  harde tab and gud sunthi nasya. Gives good result

4. In today era.....we know advertising is very imp roll of cosmetics use...beware of it....in ayurveda told that head..ear and in hair...do oil massage every day...but today all people not put oil in the hair....

5. Stress is a big roll in hair fall ....for that yoga and meditation is giving better result to remove stress So

*1. Hair massage or shirodhara

*4. Vatpitta shamak drug

*5. Remove stress....

There is a full remedy for Hairfall i think.....and i do...

For dandruff lemon gel is very useful. Just apply on a scalp massage for 15 minutes and wash with water only

Dandruff is a fungus. Spreads from scalp to the neck and affects even ears and back. MM KWATH is basic with Arkadi tail for topical application. Ca and Fe deficiency be taken care of. Nasya helps a lot completing the treatment. Continuous hair wash with neem kwath for a month helps

Gunjadi tail + neemb tail + dhatur patradi tail equal praposnal for 5 to 7 min

In the morning half hrs before clinging the head apply lemon juice in the head. Wash head with the help of fresh lassi.

Migraine and ayurveda

Well....my thesis topic was vatika shirahshula... (tension type headache)....vatika and paittik both headache can be treated as migraine....brahmi,sankhpushpi, jatamansi are drug of choice....jatamansi is having medhya and vedanasthapan property....so single drug is also very useful....simultaneously vathar or pittahar drug should be given....Again shirodhara (plain jalsama) and nasya with cowghee or brahmighee gives excellent results....
In today's era everyone should think about jaladhara.... It is very economic.... We can use rose water.,chandan powder, aamla powder  or yastimadhu powder in making faant so psychologically patient  feels better.....but infact jaladhara is equally effective as another tail, takra dhara....

My view regarding vitiligo is only an only kapha prakopak , aamashay gat dushit vyadhi so
When i suggested treatment ! Among them more drugs are doing work on aam pachan and kaph prashaman !
In diet : plz avoid khichdi and milk at night , virrudh ahar , essential flavour  based sour food likes juices, pulp etc!
Avoid sweets, menda items, madhur ,amla , lavan bharjit aahar !
And need 30% empty stomach when you take meal !

If spots situated at upper and lower lips then it should b on chest and genital regions area or may b developed in future in area ! So dt kind of cases will b cured after long time it means 3-4 years and if hypo pigmented patches shawn at other parts of tve body , it will b cure within 1 year, so vaidyas plz when you start treatment of vitiligo and you define the position of spots make sure with completing of treatment time,so pts will b mentally prepared for long time treatment !
