Todays topic for discussion: Nosebleeds….(bleeding from the nose)

Group 1:

Vd. Khushdil (Australia) : Nose Bleed suggests more likely Pitta prakopa.. There are some other factors also included.....If it's only related to Pitta, Dhanwantaram or Ksheerbala 101 oil Nasya will be helpful..try Panchajiri..... Jira(cumin), Dhana(coriander Seeds), Sugar cube, Ginger powder and Ghee..... Twice a day...Try to follow Pitta pacifying diet...

Vd. Devangi Jogal (Surat): Nasya of vasa swaras or vasa ghrita or shatavary ghrita or plain cow ghee will give excellent results....Even vasa ghanvati  and Guduchi satva orally will be more beneficial to avoid recurrence.....

Vd.  Dipam tripathi: For nasal bleed : Vasa churna or swaras with galo satva...twice day....

soke ‘durva’ in water for overnight…drink that water, also gives good result ....and durva swaras nasya..effective......Vasa is the best medicine for raktpitta, But 1 thing i remind hear...vasa swaras is vasocontrictor and vasa kwath is vasodilator....so be carefull for use...

Group 2:

Vd. Hardik Bhatt: Pitta prakruti,  seasons like – sharada or Grisham, consumption of ushna, tikshan food, injury, high blood pressure  are common causes for nose bleed. Durva swaras, aamalaki swaras , shatavari , chandrakala ras , dhara with cold water, ghee nasya, godanti, kamdudha  etc gives good result

Group 3:

⁠⁠⁠Minoo Parabia: Epistaxis must first be attended for hypertension, followed by possibility of sinusitis.

Any preparation of Aloe in my opinion works equivalent to Warfarin. So stop if any. Cooling of head, application of vasa or japakusum juice as nasal drops helps. Administration of alum with buttermilk is a first aid. Juice of Moringa, Cynodon with saptamrit for some time cures well. This is especially good for a pregnant lady.

Group 5:

Vd. Dhruti Kagrana: Nosebleeds 1st Pinch the nose till bleeding stops.

- Palandu(Onion) swarasa, Vasa swarasa, Milk(Godugdha)  nasya are useful in bleeding from the nose

Group 6:

Vd. Piyush Prajapati Palanpur: Vasa is best.. sunthi and jaggary mixed water is also having good results..

Vd. Bhavesh Thakkar: Urdhvag raktasrav - ushir is the drug of choice,

Vd. Piyush Prajapati Palanpur: Vasa is best for urdhvag and adhog raktpitta too.

Vd. Tushar trivadi (Bhavnagar): Durvr swatas is also good and udumbar avaleh

Vd Charu Trivedi: Only sfatika with water mix than 4 to 5 drop direct drop in nose gives miracles result
