Contractor: Majja dhatu is bone marrow, where the birth place of blood cells, regular blast of the same is within the reference range is normal, but irregular blast from bone marrow causes leukemia ( blood cancer), platelets get used faster decreased fast lowering from its reference range, while the TLC( total leucocyte count increase drastically, types of leukemia are lymphoblastic, myeloid myeloma, acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALBL) etc.TLC is white blood cells wbc

Canada Nitin Shah: Majja is the 6 th Dhatu and main function is feeling the space and it means that it provides fulfillment in the life. Deficiency of this tissue lead to unfulfilled life. And this we see those who have bone marrow disorder.

Contractor: If we bring back the virgin body metabolism with the help of activated organic alkaloids, slowly but steadily the hormones start balancing resulting the entire central system comes in its discipline, no matter how big & mammoth is the disease, diet control plays the supportive but major role, oxygenation, sun bath( ultraviolet rays), antioxidants, determination power, yoga all the natural & holistic methods do support the patient, irrespective of age ,sex or weight of the patient.   According to our Ācharya's Majja dhatu is present in body almost {1Anjali pramana } So Majja dhātu Can we corelate to  Mastishka Drava {Cerabro spinal fluid}.

Contractor: We are aware of the hormones controlled by brain, for example if one is upset feels sever dryness in mouth as salivary glands due to nervous condition doesn't work, similarly one doesn't get arose( stimulated) for sex due to any fears as the pituitary glands don't secret hormones to rush blood in veins for stimulating, these is controlled by brain, little deficiency in majja dhatu does effect even memory, grasping, concentrating etc, so mustiska is the power station

Dr. Sachin Utpat: We have to consider kshay-vruddhi and dushti differently.

If we consider majjadushti the reasons are उत्पेष (that is mardan) abhishyand, abhighat and most importantly viruddha Anna.

There are two types of dhatus sthayi and asthayi. All the reasons or causes which affect dhatus are affecting pravahi dhatu.

Also while considering majja dhatu it is very important to know the connections with pittadhara kala.

मज्जाधरा कला एव पित्तधरा कला

If we see citations from charak when majja kshay happens  there is possibility of vata disorders that means ghrutha is the remedy for it.

As majja disorders are there use appropriate ghrutha, avoid viruddha Anna and also pittaghna treatment

According to susruta ,there is Meda  with rakta in small bone..and this shows yellow bone marrow and red bone marrow in small bones.. Hematopoietic activitie is done mainly in long bone , then small bone ,liver and spleen.. When hematopoietic cells in bonemarrow are decreased , spleen do function of hematopoiesis.. Or in condition of leukemia, precursor cells infiltrate spleen and splenomegaly occurs...in this condition yellow bone marrow(meda) convert into redbone marrow, so meda is decreased.And red bone marrow produced premature cells which infiltrate spleen and cause splenomegaly(pleeha vruddhi)..

USA Gary Yuen: For diet to maintain this dhatu, I've heard some foods are better. Grains bea7uyns lentil dal seeds nuts root vegetables maybe ghee etc. Chinese also make soup from animal bones. True?

USA Gary Yuen: A slightly related small detail. Someone asked about CoQ10. Not Ayurveda but it may relate to unknown substances of foods that can affect all things like bones. One doctor says eating green vegetables that have chlorofill, when you are outside in sun, body will use it to naturally make CoQ10.

Deshpande: For bone marrow diseases the dosha discussed are really true..As a remedy to bring back virginity or reversal  we are using in. naturopathy Ozone therapy along with supplements like omega 3  2gms. shatavari  ,ashwsganth , guduchi and green tea each three gms to six gms s day..orally.  also gel of raw papaya 20 gms s day. to reduce blast ratio  matra basti of 20 ml juice of Papaya leaves 30 gms of wheat grass juice  is given by drip through saline set. Twice or thrice a day. On limbs , spinal cord , chest  ozone blanching with juices as above is also done.  Medicinal bath with ozone is also given fir one hour.. Daily treatment comprises three hours .All disorders  such as WBC / Platelets  acid phospotates  etc are well managed or normalised. depending on conditions.  Root causes such as lucky guts, de acidification of marrow environments , restoration of lives  chain over heavy chain etc.

Vd. Prerak Shah: Pl wait for English translation. Total 135 patients were recorded till 2014. At this day the figure must be high. As now state government is funding and also supporting the team involved.

Dr. Sachin Utpat: We always use to give rakta basti at ayurved  when I was doing pg over there 15 years back Mahavidyalaya, Nashik. But mainly used in rakta kshay.

AVN may be considered under majja dushti. I remember a case of AVN treated well with majja basti🙏

Dr. Ravindra Upadhyay: Children afflicted with. Thalassemia are treated in the civil hospital  of Ahmadabad by  enema of blood of Goats, due to which the duration of blood transfusion has increased, they  do not need that frequently blood transfusion. Since last 3 yrs 135 children have been benefitted. Ayurved has narrated various types of. PANDU  ie  ANAEMIA.  The symptoms of Tridoshaj  Pandu. and THALASSEMIA ARE ALIKE. In 1925 it was known as Cooley's. ANAEMIA, subsequently from 1950 it was named as THALASSEMIA. AROUND 10000 CHILDREN ARE BORN. IN THE CIVIL HOSPITAL AKHANDANAND  OF AHMEDABAD.  THE EXPERIMENT ( TREATMENT ) IS GOING ON. THE DURATION OF BLOOD TRANSFUSION HAS LENTHENED IN ALL THE CHILDREN. MAJORITILY THE PTS NEED BLOOD TRANSFUSION  4 TIMES A WEEK AND SOMETIMES  TWICE IN A MONTH. BUT  AFTER BEING GIVEN THE  ENEMA OF  BLOOD OF GOAT, IN SOME CASES THEY NEED BLOOD TRANSFUSION ONLY ONCE IN 6. MONTHS.

In this treatment  the blood is not given INTRRAVENOUS, BUT IT IS GIVEN PER RECTALLY  LIKE  ORDINARY  ENEMA. SINCE THE I BLOOD IS GIVEN PER RECTALLY ,  ONE DOES NOT NEED A PARTICULAR. BLOOD GROUP. THE   OF THE DOSE OF THE BLOOD IS DECIDED AS PER THE AGE, WT, AND THE  SEVERITY OF THE DISEASE.  FOR THIS AYURVEDIC TREATMENT,  AFTER THE BLOOD  TRANSFUSION  ONE NEEDS TO GO WITHIN 3 DAYS TO THE CIVIL HOSPITAL AND CONTINUE THE AYURVEDIC TREATMENT FOR 10. DAYS. AT A STRETCH.

THE  GOAT BLOOD IS PROCURED FROM THE  SLAUGHTER HSE MAINTANED BY THE. CORPORATION. INITIALLY THE GOAT IS  EXAMINED FROM THE HEALTH PT OF VIEW. AFTER THAT THE BLOOD IS REMOVED FROM  THE VEIN   NEAR THE NECK.  AFTER THE NECESSARY INVESTIGATIONS  CARRIED OUT IN  ANIMAL HUSBANDARY DEPT OF THE GOVT HOSPITAL,  IT IS INFUSED. IT IS A GENETICALLY INHERITED DISEASE. IF THE HUSBAND AND WIFE BOTH ARE THALASSEMIA MINOR, THE  CHANCES  OF OFFSPRING  BEING THALLASEMIC MAJOR IS 50 %.

THE DISEASE IS HEREDITARY. THE SYMPTOMS ARE SEEN BY THE 5 TH YEAR OF THE AGE. PALLOR, is PALE LOOKING, BLACKISH  SKIN, IRRITABLE,  BREATHELESSNESS,  LOSS OF APPETITE,  OEDEMA , ALL OVER THE BODY. ARE THE. SYMPTOMS. .  AYURVED HAS "NARRATED RAKTABASTI WAYBACK  5000 YRS BACK. AS A TREATMENT. "TADEV DARBHA MRUDITAMRAKTAM BASTI. PRADAPAYET"   MEANING  RAKTABASTI  ie ,  ENEMA OF BLOOD  IS GIVEN  WHEN  BLOOD IS DEFICIENT. ON THE BASIS OF THE VERY PRINCIPLE, THE THALASSEMICS  ARE GIVEN  ENEMA OF  GOAT BLOOD IN  AYURVEDIC  SPECIALITY CLINIC OF AKHANDANAND.

THERE IS INCREASE IN THE IRON DUE TO BLOOD TRANSFUSION. FERRITIN IS DECREASED BY  REMOVING OVERLOAD OF IRON.  DISEASED BONEMARROW  IS OVERCOME  OR TREATED  BY USAGE OF GHEE PROCESED WITH  MAJJA .  MAJJA PROCESSED  GHEE IS NOTHING BUT A MIXTURE OF BONEMARROW OF GOAT AND GHEE.  THE VERY MIXTURE CAN BE USED BY THE PTS BY APPLYING ON. CHAPATIS.

THE DRS OF GOVT RUN AYURVEDIC HOSPITAL HAVE SUCCEEDED IN THIS EXPERIMENT. BUT  THE ALLOPATHIC DRS ARE SCEPTICAL ABOUT IT,  NOBODY IS AWARE  HOW THE GOAT BLOOD IS  INVESTIGATED PRIOR TO  ENEMA.. WHETHER THE SAME PROCEDURE IS ADOTED  OR SOME DIFFERENT IS YET TO BE ESTABLISHED. MORE RESEARCH IS  EXPECTED TO BE DONE IN THIS CONTEXT.(. DR. VISHWAS AMIN, EXECUTIVE. DIRECTOR --. DR ATUL BHAVSAR, THE MONITORING OFFICER, AYURVEDIC SPECIALITY CLINIC, STATED THAT THE DURATION OF THE BLOOD TRANSFUSION PERIOD  OF  135 CHILDREN HAS BEEN INCREASED FROM  2  MONTHS TO 6 MONTHS  BY THE USAGE OF ENEMA OF GOAT BLOOD.

REMARKABLE  DECREASE IN THE FERRITIN LEVEL AND  THE QUALITY OF BLOOD CORPUSCLES WERE ACHIEVED.

Dr. Shriniwas Gujjarwar: In Nanded and Aurangabad we were doing Aja (Goat)rakta basti for thalassamia and anaemia in 1997-98 during my ug under Vd. Bindumadhav Katti sir (he was renowned panchakarma tadnya in marathawada region of maharastra ) and with Vd. Santosh Nevapurkar  (my senior ). Excellent results.

Dr. P. A. Deshpande: Annal  injection of blood is not retained ..It has to be given through saline sdt by drip at slow speed. Combination  100 ml finely filtered blood added with 400 ml NS 5%  in two hours . It is absolutely essential to de acidify marrow environments by intensive treatment  as mentioned in my post. Otherwise it will not give desired result. We should not be satisfied with delayed transfusion but to cure by reversal

Germany Helga Fuchs: Are there any studys done, how the patients are today? It would be important to see long thermed results and sideeffects to. Observing the healt or way of patients after 20 years,  can be seen as  longtherm results of treatment. This is very informativ and will be a important point to accept this treatment worldwide or to find up to the results possible new or easy ways to hold the healingsuccsess after well done treatment. Hope she have done this observation because this is THE POINT to bring Ayurveda in worldwide focus as serious medicine.

Vd. Sachin Kadlag: Collect  fresh goat blood directly into a pot partially filled with honey , and mix it quickly , then it doesn't clot. I have given only once the goat blood enema.  It doesn't clot.

Dr. P. A. Deshpande: Animal blood is more acidic and thick than human blood.When mixed in 5 %  NS  clotting  is avoided  and density is reduced

Dr. Gaurav Makan: But, the 5% NS will be reduced to how much percentage after helping avoid coagulation?

Dr. P. A. Deshpande: About  de acidification ozone blanching on limbs spinal cord chest skull with paste of wheat grass , moringo  oil massage    , jacketting with oxygen / ozone, tub bath with leafy vegetable juices , ciw urine , turmaric and ozone  purifies tixins in blood and marrow.  It takes three to four months for normalising parameters  but  progress is seen immediately.  As regards absorption  percentage of  blood , I don't have testing method but benefits may be looked as other way. Prerak Shah: @Helga: Yes, all datas and scientifically done research details / documentation are there.....This program is under operation since last 20+ years.... government approved it and supported it since last 3-4 years .....acceptance from Government (team of western minded scientists, doctors and researchers) was not easy, or it was not a fluke.....after watching its long term positive effects, they have agreed to support this project...still they dont have open mind & heart.....still they create many doubts and many hurdles...because this is ayurveda and these people cant digest success of ayurveda in such a complicated condition.

Dr. Gaurav Makan: Dr. Jinal what he wants to say is... Instead of giving it like enema in few minutes.. It has to be given slowly over a period of 2 hours by setting the drip accordingly

Germany Helga Fuchs: Dear Prerakbhai, very good done. This is so important work. And that western doctors work in this Team is very good. Same procedure are here and same thinking, but this is only to clear out everything what is possible. Fools are here to cleare them and to find a better way. On the end you will have a study where different Situation are named and why and how and witch results are given. This are important informations and this fight have all technics or new ways to undergo. If real benefits of this treatment are given, all doctors, ayurvedic and allopathic, will be more clear and safe.

Please do not think about Ayurveda is not accepted or she do not like the success of Ayurveda. Last point is Problem of Pharmaindustrie but not in mind of good doctors. Good doctors are interested in proper and safe treatment to save lives and health. This is all over the world the same. Only technics and systems are different but not the goal.

majja is a type of sneh or med. thats why can we say humor aqu, vitreous, is also Majja dhatu.majja mal are  netra sneh,  purish sneh and tvacha sneh.

Shri Minoo parabia: Brain is a nervine tissue. Very sprcific and no comparable though. Majja in my view are all divisible  tissues that can regenerate the differentiated mass called organ. So bone marrow is one of the types of majja that can produce differentiated blood corpuscles. This process of regeneration is largely governed by complex hormonal and enzymatic system.
