Vd. Dhruti Kagrana: A common cause of wrist pain
is carpal tunnel syndrome.

Vd. Prerak Shah: Simple arthritic changed can
also be common cause.
Dr. Pulatsya Vora: Wrist pain-many causes but the major
one is overuse as in case of writer or sport person(tennis;badminton;cricket)
and and another major cause is obesity -particularly after pregnancy and Carpal-tunnel Syndrome-may be due to above
two causes or due to steroid therapy. The treatment is rest; correction of
spasm of nerves and muscles and subsiding pain. Panchgun tailam is useful.

Vd. Pankaj Chhayani: My father is suffering from wrist joint
pain since 2009... He underwent for many tests , all were normal...he is
diabetic..before 6 year ago he groan in night, he asked me for something in
midnight, I fumbled for a while.. I gave yograj gugglu as placibo, as I knew
that it will not give relief.. Then I got one idea of Upnaha sweda, but I had
not any material in midnight..after that I got dough in freeze..I gave
fomentation of dough and he got completely relief... After that I always give
him hot fomentation of dough and pippli churna for relief and he gets... खल्ली तु पादकरमुल अवमोटनी...करमुल- wrist joint…….Upnaha is
treatment of khalli...
Vd. Prerak Shah: I agree with Vd. Pankaj. Upanah is my choice
of therapy. I explain it as pizza svedana to my foreign students. We
can add several kitchen herbs and spices in dough. Like ginger, fenugreek,
mustard, sesame, garlic, turmeric etc.

like pizza base. The word ‘Upnah’ is not easy to remember and also not easy to
pronounce for foreigners.

of upnaha swedana (pizza swedana ) for pain..
Bunty Gandhi: Ajmodadi Choorna is useful for pain relief.

Slesaka K is disturbed,create instability, heavyness, pain, inflamation. Rheumatic disorders due V,PK Vikruti. Rest,
diet, lepa, pizza type (upanah?), in rheuma little hot oil and dry and hot
lepa. Regular routine is must for all
types with enough sleep and reduce stress for mind and body. Virecan, Basti,
Massage. To avoid incompatible food is must. And shure, to much pressure or
movement is not good. Simple rasayan like milk with turmeric, almond, ghee, or
small cleaning with milk and castor oil ones a week, is good for pain and to
calm Vata. In Rist Pain rest for the rist in this time is needed. Triphala,
Ashwaghanda...

have done so many upnah…..I have made upnah of
mash (Udad) + sindhav (rock salt) + nirgundi swras + ark patra + ajwain…..Gives
best result in pain

kind of joint pains with wild apricot oil external application.

Dr. Monaliben: I got result in painful elbow joint by only
calcium intake. I didn't need to take
even guggulu as pain killer at that time.

Vd. Piyush Prajapati: In wrist pain,I m doing rakt
moxan by jaloka. Bcz I think there is raktdusti and vaat vrudhhi
always in pain.. typically in wrist joint and calcaneus pain.. I have 3 patients
who has total pain relief in single sitting of jaluka.

dashmula +rasnadi kwath……very effective

improves healing..

I have suceessfully treated carpal tunnel syndrome(Post Pregnancy/breast feeding patients) by using vata shamaka patrapinda swedanam using Dhanvantaram tailam along with orally dasamoolkadutrika kashyam, punarnavadi kashyam and palsineuron(only after breast feeding was stopped). One of the patients also had hypothyrodism so kanchnar guggulu was as
